The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins

Rating: ★★★★★
Three words: Thrilling, amazing and can’t-put-it-down
Age Recommendation: From 10 to 30. I don’t recommend reading before 10, or when you just turn 10, because you won’t understand the real problem.

My Review:
My friends were all reading this book, but they described the book as more of a crime fiction book so I held off reading it. One of my closest friends told me that it’s not actually about all of the fighting, but about the background to why it all started, so I read it.
After reading it I was mad at myself for not reading it earlier, it was amazing and I read it in 2 days because I couldn’t put it down. I’m trying not to give away too much, so here is a warning, this next sentence is a spoiler.
My favourite bit was in training, Katniss just shows that she can fight for herself, and that the capital is doing it wrong.
The only down point of this book is that after Mockingjay (the final book of the trilogy) there is no more.
My advice, read it slowly 🙂
